Hello, hello all! Welcome back for the first day of red lips!
So, today I am going to showcase one of my favourite ways to achieve that sultry, “looks good without much effort” way to create a red lip: through a lip stain. I’ve literally had so many people ask me how I created the look on my lips when I’m wearing a stain, and I do get more compliments on my lips than usual when they are stained red. Now, don’t be afraid, the lip stain will not actually stain you’re lips red to the degree that you will always look like you are wearing a red lip, but it will temporarily stain them (a few hours, the actual amount of time will depend on the colour and brand). Darker lip stains will last a shorter amount of time than brighter ones do, or at least, that’s what I’ve learned from my experience.

So, without further ado, here’s my go-to red lip stain, and I absolutely love it. You might find that it’s not actually red, or at least the way you’re used to seeing it, but remember: there are many different shades of red. 🙂
