Today’s Video: Summer Outfit of the Day! ☼ Awesome August Day 6
Hi everyone!
Today’s post is going to be a short one, I’m afraid, as I am so busy, I barely remember to breathe, let alone having the time to actually execute the process!
I hung out with my best friend in the whole wide world, Krisa, earlier, and I liked my outfit a lot, so I thought that I should make a quick Outfit of the Day video for you! It’s just a short video with some bloopers at the end, because, when you get Krisa and I together, you can pretty much guarantee some wacky things will go down. It’s easy to share a laugh with her, and it’s always a blast when we get together. She was kind enough to actually film this video for me, so thanks again to Krisa if you are reading! 🙂
The outfit itself is nothing extravagant, but I find it cute nonetheless! I think that it’s the perfect summer outfit, as I could see myself wearing this to work, to hang out with friends, or even to an evening BBQ. Overall, I’m pleased with how this outfit came together, and I’m glad that I have the opportunity to share it with you!

Fashion Friday: Spring OOTD
So before the unofficial start of summer (aka tomorrow), I thought I’d sneak in a little OOTD, or in other words, Outfit of the Day. I launched the Fashion Friday series a while ago but I’ve not really done much with it, so I thought this was the perfect chance to do so!
It’s been quite hot here the last couple of days and I thought I’d show off some spring colours as well as wear something that would keep me cool…
…and this is what I came up with!! It’s perfect for a hot spring day, and I felt pretty trendy.
So, my t-shirt is from Garage, my camisole is from Aeropostale, and my skirt was actually a high-low dress that I made into a high-low skirt from Stitches. When I tell people this, they always act shocked, but honestly, it wasn’t that hard. I just ripped the top off and surged the edges so it wouldn’t fray. Then, I just sewed the flaps down so that it wasn’t obvious that I had basically just destroyed the dress. 🙂 Oh, and if you were wondering, my flip flops are from American Apparel!
My bracelet is from Forever 21.
My earrings were a gift from my parents when I was a baby.
My necklace is from Forever 21 (and one of the flowers is turned around, sorry!).
My rose gold watch is from Michael Kors and was a 21st birthday present from my parents.
My heart shaped sunglasses are from a beach that I visited last year! I got ’em for $5!! 😀
My nail polish is American Apparel Passport Blue, which is a navy blue with a hint of turquoise! SOO pretty!
