See, she used my trick, and look at her lovely hair! 😉 |
I have super dry hair that has been that way all of my life (I know, it sucks). It’s thin/fine on the top/at the roots and the lower you get in the hair follicle, the frizzier and thicker it gets. It used to be relatively healthy, but once my mom stopped regularly combing and looking after it for me (I was about 5, haha) and then when I discovered the hair straightener (hallelujah), it dramatically declined in quality. It’s not as lush, healthy, shiny or long as it used to be, but I’m gradually working on getting it back (I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…).
Okay, getting back to the point, I just wanted to share that quick tip with you! It’s sounds so simple, and that’s the best part, it is! Despite its simplicity, though, it’s something that works. No, you don’t have to go out and buy any tools or any extra supplies, just changing where you start when you are applying conditioner makes all of the difference. Even the first time I did it on my own hair, my hair felt lighter and more nourished. Now that I’ve been starting from the bottom (now the whole team here; if you got that reference, you’re super cool :D) regularly for about 6-7 weeks, I highly recommend it!
Much love,
S♥
