There’s something about the colour white, isn’t there? It’s just so simple and clean, and for a girl like me, who prefers modern style, it’s just perfect in every way. When paired with gold, it becomes instantly glam and chic. I currently live at home, but it’s never too early to start planning for the future, right!? 🙂
Step into my fantasy world (aka a home of my own)…
I’m really into entertaining, so I love the idea of this cocktail shaker paired with those lovely glasses, so femme! The dishes and glassware that you choose when entertaining can really make a big difference in the overall vibe of your event so I think these are the perfect choice. I’ve also wanted this beautiful console from CB2 to use as either a vanity or a desk for ages now! I just love the crisp and clean, modern design and I can totally picture it in a den (if you didn’t know, I really want to live in a condominium). Speaking of desks, how cute is the Kate Spade acrylic & rose gold desktop collection (similar here)? I want every single item in the collection (that tape dispenser, though!), just think how great they would look on top of an acrylic desk! I’d also purchase a Diptyque candle or two to show off my feminine side (and because I’ve never owned a diptyque candle) and I’ll display delicate trinkets in this great shadowbox. I’ve also noticed lately that pretty, fresh flowers can instantly transofrm a room (and your mood), so I’d add some peonies or lilacs and some cute pencils or pens to these beautiful contemporary vases. For a finishing touch, I’ll place this sutdded pillow on my desk chair or in my living room, because I love how stylish and chic it is all while being very simple.
Can you see it!? For now, that’s only a fantasy (sigh), but I do plan on redecorating my room this summer, and hopefully I’ll be able to incorporate some of my design dreams into the room when I do, because these items are awesome! I really like how they work in a room separately but also would like great paired together.
What are you currently yearning for in the décor department?
Hope you have a happy Wednesday, friends!
