I love surfing the internet and finding new blogs to read and new people to admire. I’ve found some great ones lately, so do you know what that means? It’s time for a second instalment of my Browsing the Blogosphere series!
gh0stparties – I actually meant to include this blog in my March favourites video, but I forgot to! Trust me when I say, once you log onto Kate’s beautiful site, you won’t be able to resist sticking around awhile and having a little peek at everything. I’d have to say that this has been my number one blog lately, and how could it not be, it’s everything I look for: clean, modern, fresh & inviting and Kate writes about all of the good topics, but focuses on those that I just so happen to hold very near to my heart, like beauty, fashion & decor! I love her style in every way; her beauty and fashion picks are stellar, her home is lovely, and her photography is the best I think I’ve ever seen on a blog. So inspiring! Plus, if that weren’t enough to whet your appetite, she is GORGEOUS and offers really great, honest advice. Yea, I basically want to be her friend. #ifonly
Covering the Bases – I accidentally stumbled onto this blog a few weeks ago and that is, without a doubt, one of the happiest accidents I’ve made so far in 2015. Krista has fabulous style (so much outfit inspo!) and a super cool career (she works in Major League Baseball), plus she offers people who have been hit with a little bit of wanderlust (me!) a bit of joy with her awesome #TravelTuesday series. Love!
Little Miss Fearless – The whole concept of Amanda’s blog is one that really speaks to me, I love that she writes about conquering fears, big or small, and incorporates her love of fashion, food and fitness in there, too! This blog is one that I’ve been checking in on every morning, because I love the way it is written, Amanda’s flawless sense of style and learning more about her interesting career (she’s a PR manager for Adobe, and no, it’s not creepy that I know this, she writes about it frequently, haha!). Oh, and the “find an outfit” option unique to her site offers endless outfit inspiration and ideas! Score!
Brit + Co – Two words, eye candy. Brit & Co is more of a lifestyle website geared towards larger audiences, more like a magazine, but I never feel like a single detail has been overlooked when I arrive on the homepage. Every photo, every article, every button appeals to my taste and is so clean and simple yet fresh and fun. In other words, every aspect of the site is visually appealing and it always makes me want to come back for more. Also, the articles on the site vary in topic from cooking to technology and everything in between, so this is a great source to read often to get caught up in plenty of areas. Go on, read away & gain some knowledge, you’re bound to impress your friends. 😉
A Beautiful Mess – While I, personally, don’t really enjoy the design of sister duo Elsie & Emma’s blog, A Beautiful Mess (to me, I just see a clutter – no offence), I do really enjoy reading their posts and various tips on life and therefore check in every once in a while! I’ve learnt a lot about running a business and chasing your dreams from the duo, as well, and the photos on their blog are perfection, so this is a good one to add to the blogroll if you are yearning for some visual stimulation!
GOOP – This choice tends to be a little more on the controversial side when mentioned as a “must-read” blog, but I have to say, it’s a website that I love! If you don’t know what “goop” is, it is Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle website (in other words, Gwyneth, or GP, as they lovingly call her on the site, started the site and now it is run by her and her team of contributors — think LaurenConrad.com) where all of your favourite topics come together in one (very pretty) place. Now, obviously, the various products and activities recommended on the site are just a hair out of my budget (read: way too expensive to even begin rationalizing), but the site does offer a really nice, calm & relaxing vibe and some really good tips that have made it into my regular routine, so I’d say it’s for keeps. 🙂
Alright, so those are the blogs/websites that I think are worth mentioning as of today! What have you been reading lately? Are there any blogs that you simply cannot live without at the moment? Share away, friend!
Much love,
S♥
