Honestly, sometimes, it is really hard being a woman. Before you roll your eyes and I lose you forever, why is it that we have to carry around bags full of stuff we think we might need…giant wallets, agendas, pens, lip gloss, erhm, personal feminine hygiene products, everything, and men get to just stroll around with their wallets and cell phones shoved in their pockets, end of? I hate to sound like a bratty child, but it’s just not fair! To make matters worse, when the warmer months roll around, the last thing I, personally, want to do is carry around luggage disguised as a handbag. No, I want to carry less, fuss less and have more fun!
Enter the micro mini, and I tell you, this just happens to be a Spring/Summer 2015 trend that I’m really going to enjoy. The micro mini, if you haven’t heard, is exactly what it sounds like, a bag so small, it cranks the very definition of mini up a notch. These bags are basically what many women call wallets, with sizes so microscopic (she says loosely), you can only fit the absolute essentials in there (read: cell phone, cash & lip balm). Think of a modern, fresh and fashionable version of an evening clutch, just for daytime! I’ve been crushing on micro bags for the last little while now, I just love everything about them! So cute, so chic and so…mini!

Spring Getaway Essentials

When opportunity knocks, answer! I’m headed to sunny Europe for a very, very last minute trip with my family (follow me on Instagram or Twitter to find out where and to keep up with my travels!) and it’s all because my dad was asked last minute to be a part of a business conference. We didn’t think we could go, but it (oddly) fit into ALL of our schedules perfectly (couldn’t have asked for better timing), so we’re headed out! Before I leave tomorrow (tomorrow! My head is swelling at just the thought of the last minute packing!), I thought I’d share some of my sunny weather vacation essentials!
I’m totally loving those sunglasses and can totally picture wearing them to sight-see, along with those awesome shorts! For the more dressy occasions, I think this white (hot) dress is perfect, no!? Add the heels and a kickin’ mani and we’re off to the races!
I’m getting so excited for this trip and I can’t wait to share it with you upon my return! 🙂

March Beauty Wishlist
It’s almost Spring and to say that people are happy is a large understatement. This winter has honestly felt like one endless loop of polar vortexes (or whatever the new, trendy name for those are), snow and bitter, bitter windchill. Everyone in my area has been slightly overreacting to the “warm” weather we’ve had since Saturday and, just to be clear, by warm, I mean 4° Celsius (WOO, break out the swimsuits and high-waisted shorts!) and by overreacting, I mean that people are walking into stores without coats on and…get this, I even heard two sales associates in Bulk Barn yesterday talk about walking home from work. That’s serious business, y’all, Canadians are officially shedding the winter blues. 😉
