It’s been a full month since I last hit the publish button on the ol’ bylaws, and I think it’s time for a comeback. You know, a resurgence, ressurection, renewal; a return, if you will. Yes, life is busy and hectic and crazy and mad, but isn’t that what makes it so awesome!? We would all be very boring people if we didn’t have plenty of things to occupy our days, and hey, they all make for lovely stories down the line. Yes, it’s true, you may think that doing mundane things like walking your dog or going to the grocery store are boring, simple things but have you ever considered this? What you do in your day may seem totally foreign to someone else, and vice versa, and that’s the fun part! To me, the chats I have with the security guard in my office every morning around 6 am seem totally normal, but to someone whom I’ve never met before, that may seem totally strange. Then, there’s also the simple truth of, sometimes your normal, almost mechanical routine could simply, not be. Your commute into work or school could take three times as long because of traffic. Or, say, you could bump into a childhood friend at the dry cleaners. Sure, it might be random, it might be odd, hey, it might even just be plain inconvenient, but at least it’s something different, something that you’ll probably share with friends and family and could even turn into an anecdote. My point is, life throws the unexpected at us everyday, and, speaking for myself, the busier we are, the more caught up in the “busyness” we get, but sometimes, it’s nice to be busy. Social interaction is something that is so important for us here on Earth, and so much of that interaction is us sharing stories from our day, and just think about it, we wouldn’t have any stories to tell if we weren’t busy at all, would we? 😉
With that being said, today I’m going to share a few photos, a few stories and a few things that have just made me happy in all of my busyness since I last wrote an article. I honestly, truly deem each and every one of my readers as one of my friends, and dude, it’s been a while, so this is going to be like one great, (hopefully not too) big catch-up. So, pull up a seat, grab a libation of your choice (I’m sippin’ on some iced coffee as I write this and it is delicioso!), and get comfy. Here we go! 🙂
