It’s snowed a lot recently, and I mean a lot. Typically, the only-pretty-when-it’s-fresh-and-white-and-you’re-inside fluffy stuff results in super cold temps (we’ve had 3 extreme cold weather alerts in my area this week) and lots and lots of layers. People tend to sacrifice their style in the winter because it’s so cold; the goal for an outfit instantly changes from stylish and visually appealing to practical and warm. My question is, why can’t you have both!?
I usually stick to neutrals on cold, snowy days, because they’re easy to style together and it just seems more appropriate. However, to compensate, I’ll add some pieces with pizazz to spice the outfit up, and trust me when I say that this can completely change the look. Lately, I’ve been really diggin’ all things leopard print, so I opted to use this wild scarf as the base of the outfit and add in some small pops of red, and I really like how everything came together! Once upon a time, I made a video on my YouTube channel about my winter “uniform”, and the overall style method/vibe of that video still holds true today. You simply cannot beat simple, cute, warm and comfortable fashion!
