One of my new year’s resolutions is to continue my #FashionFriday series, and to try to do it once a month, so…this happened…
These next two photos are out of focus because I moved too quickly, despite the tripod and “image stabilization” mode on! Sorry, still trying to get used to the new camera, but I loved these two photos so much, I had to include them! 😀

Though I’m a sociable, saucy, single lady (say that five times fast), I am quite fond of a little holiday for all the lovers (and friends) out there, Valentine‘s Day. Why wouldn’t I, it’s the one occasion on which I can get away with using shades of red and pink in all avenues of life without reason (YES!), its super feminine and chock-full of adventure, confessions, pampering, preening and love. And sure, while I’m not actually in love, it sure is nice to feel all that love and magic in the air and watch all the couples get all couply. 🙂 Oh, and the constant feed of romcoms on television!? HELL YES.
With the big day fast approaching, I’m sure all of you lovebirds are scrambling for some outfit inspiration. Well, today, I thought I’d dress a little festive and hopefully do just that! This outfit was SO comfy & warm, and the combination of the dress (which looked like a skirt due to the layering of the sweater), the tights, the leg warmers and the knee-high boots translated into legs for days (which, is perfect for short gals like me!). This dress is so pretty and I actually planned on doing another post with it (which I think I might do anyway come springtime), but with it being the dead of winter and all, I decided not to opt for the open toe pumps and short sleeves! However, I love the way that this outfit came together regardless, and it is super versatile. In my opinion, this is the perfect outfit to wear on V-Day, whether you’re out running errands, shopping with your girls or you’ve got plans with your hunny. I’m actually really excited to wear it in a few weeks! #readytoroll
What do you plan to wear on Valentine’s Day? Are you one of those people that buy a whole new outfit for the day, or do you like to make what you have work for you?
Have a great weekend, everybody!
