Hey everyone!
Long time no speak, huh?
I am soo sorry for my absence! I have to be honest, it’s been a crazy couple of weeks for me and in the process, I seem to have inadvertently abandoned my YouTube channel and this website. I know that a lot of you have started to wonder where I am and/or why I haven’t written a post in over a month. To those of you who were wondering, I am still alive, but have been so busy!
So, now I’m sure that you are wanting to know all of the details! Well, the main reason for my absence is because of the fact that I got a summer job that started 2 weeks after my exams finished for school (woohoo, third year is officially under my belt now!). That probably sounds like a very long time, and I’m sure you are thinking, “if that was me, I would catch up on my blog and YouTube channel in those two weeks!”. BUT, I had to rush around my area, getting all of the supplies I knew I would need, including everything from clothes to transit documentation/passes. I started my job on May 7 and have been loving every moment of it, except for the fact that it is 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. This means that, while I was getting use to that kind of work schedule again (I worked these hours in 2010, before I suffered from two strokes), I was dog tired when I got home after (as I have to wake up at approximately 5 am every morning to do an hour commute and don’t get home until approximately 6:15 pm after an almost-2-hour journey home). So, I didn’t have any time for myself, let alone my friends/social life, family, and other obligations (YouTube & blog).
Then, I went on vacation to British Columbia from May 21 (Victoria Day for us here in Canada) to May 28 (yesterday). It was fantastic and I cannot wait to share more details about it, but let’s just say, I had tons of fun with my family (extended and immediate) and brought home lots of goodies! 😀
I returned to work today, but as I feel like I am getting used to the whole working all day, every day and then having the weekends to myself, I feel I am ready to make my comeback. I have some super exciting videos and posts planned and am so pumped to get them going! I will be around for the whole summer, now that I have adjusted to my summer time management schedule (just think, I’m almost 21 years old, so that means that I have family, friends, school, work, AND other commitments to consider and fit in)!
So, as my last little farewell, I will say only 6 words…
Stay tuned &
Ta Ta for Now!!
Much love,
S♥
PS – Thanks for sticking by me this whole time. The start of this website has been a journey, and an interesting one at that, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I truly value you, the reader, as without you, I wouldn’t be writing this at this very moment. 🙂
PPS – please let me know if you want to see a post showing some pics of my BC trip, as I took over 500 of them (I’m a photography lover, so please don’t judge ;)), and would be honoured to share some with you! Thanks!
