Hey internet friends (I can’t help but think of Jim Chapman everytime I say that, teehee)! So, I’m back for #NakedWeek Day 1, ohhhhh yea! I know I hinted at the first day being an Urban Decay product, but I’ve since had a change of heart and decided to lead off the week with this post. Let’s get to it, shall we?!

Naked Week Update!!

Hi lovelies!

How are you all!? I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend!

Well, surprise, surprise, I have failed…again.

Yup, I’m sure that was a life-changing moment for you, as it is SO out of my character. 🙁

I’m actually really sad. I failed to bring you post after post of NAKED-themed beauty stuff…last week. I could make excuses, or say that I do have other things to focus on, but at the end of the day…there is no excuse and my blog IS a priority (other than what I’m sure it seems). Anyways, getting off of the sad train and hopping onto my usual, positive train, I PROMISE you will see 5 new naked themed beauty reviews this week, Monday May 19 – 23. I know, I say things like this all the time, but this time, I’m going to see it through, even it means getting no sleep. I’m serious, I will. I feel like this is the point where you all roll your eyes and I do something drastic to make you believe me, like sign it in blood or something, but maybe that’s just the sad, procrastinator in me being over-dramatic.

I won’t make this post long, BUTTTTTTT, I will see you tomorrow for a new (and exciting) #NakedWeek post! Hint, hint: it might even be an Urban Decay product or something along those lines! 😉 *cue the ooohhsss and the ahhhhhs* 😛

Get Naked with Me!

Girl, get your mind out of the gutter! 😉 I’m talking about makeup, of course!

Hey hey hey!

What’s crackalackin’!? Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you! The funny thing is, the only Irish thing about me is my first name, but I always get very enthusiastic about this particular holiday. I always wear green, do my makeup festively (which, fate willing, you will see later today :)), and go around pinching people who fail to be in green, even in some small way (socks & underwear count!). So, that being said, I hope you have a wonderful, happy and lucky St. Paddy’s day (or at least one good enough to forget that it’s Monday…bleh)!! So…long time, no speak…I know, mea culpa, mea culpa…but let’s not focus on the bad, let’s replace it with the good, shall we? I’m back, and you are guaranteed to hear from me for the next 4 days.

FYI: this isn’t my cat, Lucky, but this cat is a calico like Lucky is and it looks ALOT like she does! #twinsies

Welcome to #NakedWeek, which is essentially a cool name for the week that I attempt to make up for my absence by posting a review on a couple of “Naked”-themed beauty products every single day of the work week, aka this week (though, I know it will take more than that to make up for my absence, hence the word attempt :/)! I thought that today would be a good day to start because it’s St. Paddy’s day and who knows how the day will end for a lot of people. Personally, I’m not a drinker, so admiring my Urban Decay Naked palettes will be as bare as I get, but I won’t judge anyone who takes it one step further. After all, there’s a reason that this holiday is associated with luck, right? #getlucky

Okay, I honestly do not know what’s wrong with me! I’m not usually this perverted or x-rated, I promise. *ahem* Getting back to the (family-friendly) point…are you excited!? I sure am! Think reviews on coveted products, some basics (because it’s always nice to get back to basics) and maybe a random one that I’m sure you won’t see coming!

Alright, to stop myself from doing what I usually do (BLAB FOREVER), I’m going to cut this post short, but stick around, things are about to get interesting… 😉
